Cole and I have finally gotten a good feeding routine down.
I’ve taken out the smaller cave. That seems to have helped. Now most of the time he stays in the floating log, but I have to move the floating log to get to the cave, so he knows he’s getting fed, so I don’t mind. It takes a few minutes for him to come out after I take my hand out of the tank, but this gives the bloodworms time to losen up and warm up (they’re frozen). It’s so funny to see him come out because once he does he goes whipping down to the cave and chows down like he hasn’t seen food in years.
The only problem with this is that the floating log is right in front of one of the filters. So the water is flowing right towards it. Cole then has to lay in these weird positions just to get out of the flow. But he has another option, so it’s his fault if he doesn’t take it.
